On this Remembrance Day, CapriCCio Vocal Ensemble presents No Place Like Home:
Songs of Memory, Love, and Return, a moving musical journey exploring what home means when distance, conflict, and time separate us from the people and places we cherish most. Through music of exile, longing, sacrifice, resilience, and hope, the program honours those who served, the families who waited, and the countless lives shaped by war and displacement. Featuring music by Patriquin, Stolarz, Stroope, Paulus, Schmitt, Runestad, Kirchner, Wilberg, and Forrest, the program weaves together diverse musical voices that
speak to the universal human experience of separation and belonging. From poignant reflections on loss and remembrance to uplifting songs of return and reunion, these works remind us that home is more than a place—it is memory, identity, love, and the enduring promise of finding our way back to one another. As we gather in collective remembrance, we celebrate the ties that connect us across generations and affirm the enduring power of hope, peace, and home.
