Join alumni from Write On! The Songwriting Experience for an intimate “In-the-round” style showcase at the Canmore Folk Music Festival on Sunday, August 2, 2:00-4:00 pm at Miners Hall Pub Stage. You need a Canmore Folk Festival ticket for the Sunday or the weekend.

Eden Taylor: Award-winning Canadian singer-songwriter Eden Taylor blends cinematic pop, soul, blues, country, and folk into a sound that is both emotionally honest and uniquely her own. Based in Airdrie, Alberta, she is known for powerful vocals, compelling storytelling, and dynamic performances across Canada and the United States. Her accolades include multiple Global Country Music Association Awards and a YYC Music Award nomination, while career highlights include performances at Nashville's Bluebird Cafe, sold-out headline shows at Calgary's King Eddy, and selection for the 2026 Acoustic Guitar Project – Alberta Edition. Her music has also received support from CBC Music and Alberta's music development community.

Amber Williams: Raised in the rugged foothills along the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains, Amber Williams delivers neo-traditional country music rooted in honest stories, hard work, and the kind of songs that feel like home - blending traditional country, bluegrass soul, and a touch of southern rock grit into a sound that can be described as “Dolly meets ZZ Top”. With powerhouse vocals, a fearless stage presence, and lyrics drawn from real life, Amber has become one of Alberta’s most notable emerging artists, earning accolades including the 2022 Voice of BVJ, 2025 Vista Radio Star, and 2025 CommunityVotes Red Deer Entertainer of the Year. Whether she’s igniting a honky-tonk dancefloor or delivering a heartfelt ballad, Amber creates the kind of live show you don’t just hear - you experience.

Jason Andrew Griffith: Calgary singer-songwriter Jason Andrew Griffith blends folk, alt-country, blues, and Americana into heartfelt songs inspired by family, nostalgia, and life on the Canadian Prairies. Often compared to acclaimed Alberta songwriters John Wort Hannam and Corb Lund, Griffith has become a familiar face on the local music scene, performing at venues and events including the King Eddy, Heritage Park, and the Calgary Stampede. His debut EP, Voice of Marie, received airplay on campus and community radio stations across Canada, followed by the release of Bootlegged Live in Calgary and the single Stay Another Day. A finalist in the 2025 Ranchman's Rising Star Best Song Contest and recipient of the 2026 Rocky Mountain Listening Room Spotlight Artist Award, Griffith is quickly emerging as one of Alberta's rising roots music voices.

Sadie-Lee is a Canadian pop-country artist and songwriter whose heartfelt lyrics and melodic storytelling have made her a rising talent in the independent music scene. Blending contemporary pop and country influences, she has released nine original singles, including fan favourites Reconcile and Bitter Sweet, helping her surpass 500,000 streams across digital platforms. She was nominated for a 2022 YYC Music Award in the Prophets of Music Emerging Artist category and earned a 2026 YYC Music Award nomination for Holiday Recording of the Year for her Christmas single Oh What a Night. Sadie-Lee continues to build momentum as one of Alberta's promising emerging artists
