Event Description
What happens when I come into contact with a body in all its forms – when I see in my feet, hear in my hands and speak in vibrations?
A unique, immersive and genre-defying performance comes to Kingston August 7-9 2026 at this year’s TK Fringe with Ottawa-based
Speaking Vibrations – a show that explores the sounds, songs, signs and stories of four women.
Speaking Vibrations is an award-winning, multidisciplinary performance featuring ASL song and poetry, spoken word, song, percussive and contemporary dance. Bridging together themes of identity, interculturalism, migration, and belonging, throughout this piece four women explore their origin stories and along the way, discover and connect with one another.
Note: August 9 performance will be followed by a talkback.
