Skýlla is a powerful gathering shaped by the energy, creativity, and strength that emerges when women and gender diverse people come together.
For one unforgettable day, the island comes alive with extraordinary artists, powerful music, immersive workshops, bold ideas, and a market filled with women and gender non-conforming creators.
Skýlla honours the many realities, experiences, and expressions of womanhood and gender diversity. It makes space for instinct, intelligence, ambition, tenderness, courage, grief, joy, reinvention, and the steady force of the tide. It welcomes people across many seasons of life, shaped by love and loss, growth and uncertainty, change and becoming. Here, people are recognized as whole and evolving, carrying many stories, identities, and strengths.
Admission is free, and everyone is welcome. While Skýlla celebrates and centres women and gender diverse artists, creators, and voices, the festival is open to people of all genders, ages, and backgrounds. Whether you're coming to discover local art, enjoy live performances, take part in a workshop, or simply spend the day on the island, we'd love to welcome you.
