Event Description
An intimate evening of music showcasing female talent of the Bow Valley featuring Carlyn Reilly, Lori Reid, Heather Jean Jordan, Irene Poole, and Ji Won Baxter.
Carlyn Reilly
Carlyn Patricia Reilly kindles the stage with a soft yet soulful resonance. Her indie-folk style carries subtle touches of jazz and rock, reflecting influences from Frazey Ford, Norah Jones, and Fleetwood Mac.
Her songwriting draws from her emotional landscape, exploring life, love, and the quiet process of inner healing. A runner-up in the Bow Valley Sound-Off and a supporting artist in last year’s Women of the Valley, Carlyn is excited to return this year as a featured artist, sharing a collection of original work.
Lori Reid
Lori Reid, a songwriter now based in Edmonton, Alberta, and founding member of the Alberta group The Fates, explores the ever-changing elements that shape our lives. A longtime Bow Valley local, her heartfelt, roots-inspired songwriting is deeply grounded in a sense of place—now drawing from both the expansive prairie landscapes and the majesty of the Canadian Rockies.
With an extensive background in performing, touring, and recording, Lori brings a rich musical pedigree and remains one of Canmore’s most noteworthy Women of the Valley.
The Three Sisters
Based in the Bow Valley, Heather Jean Jordan, Irene Poole, and Ji Won Baxter are a harmony-driven trio whose music weaves together poignant songwriting, classic folk textures, and ethereal vocals. Their sound is both grounded and expansive, shaped by the landscapes that inspired their name.
Local favourites, they have graced stages including Arts Place, the Canmore Folk Music Festival, and Winter Warm Up, earning a warm and devoted following in the valley.
