Event Description
Join the Pacific Rim Ensemble for a delightful afternoon concert featuring a vibrant and varied program of chamber music. The afternoon opens with works by Igor Stravinsky, Paquito D'Rivera, Josephine Lang, and Jonathan Newmark, exploring bold rhythms, lyrical intimacy, jazz-inspired colours, and contemporary voices.
The concert culminates with our featured work, Bohuslav Martin's La Revue de Cuisine-a witty, playful, and irresistibly fun piece brought to life with narration by Christopher Butterfield. His storytelling adds an extra layer of imagination and charm, guiding us through Martinü's colourful world and making this joyful finale even more engaging.
