Live Music: Bellbird

Event Description

Bellbird is a collective of Montreal-based musicians whose unique instrumentation of two woodwinds, bass, and drums, allows to explore sonic landscapes that allude to harmony without being restricted by it. Original compositions by each band member showcase their diverse sets of influences, including jazz, avant-garde, and folk music.
Members:

Allison Burik - alto saxophone, bass clarinet

Montreal-based saxophonist, clarinetist, and composer, Allison blends acoustic instruments with electronics to create immersive soundscapes rooted in improvisation and sonic exploration.

Claire Devlin - tenor saxophone

Saxophonist and composer living in Montreal, Claire leads her own quartet and performs widely, known for her expressive playing and thoughtful, contemporary compositions.

Eli Davidovici - bass

Bassist, composer, and educator based in Montreal, Eli works across jazz, rock, and hip hop, collaborating with artists nationwide and producing original music.

Mili Hong - drums

Originally from South Korea, drummer Mili Hong is based in Vancouver, where she explores jazz, rock, and experimental music through a range of creative projects.
