Altered by Mom is a smart, irreverent, and effortlessly cool rock band from Toronto, Canada. The female-fronted trio brings a mix of catchy, well-crafted rock music with a rebellious edge and a sense of humor. JUNO-winning songwriters Gina Kennedy (Bass/Vox) and Devon Lougheed (Guitar, Vox), joined by Max Trefler (Drums) play with gender roles, lean into DIY creativity, and embrace a badass, fun, and authentic energy.
Since their latest singles “Sucking on a Lemon” and “OK OK” (Feb 2025) they’ve secured national radio support including SiriusXM and have become “unstoppable” (Exclaim!). They have commanded stages from Hillside Fest in Ontario to Giantstock in Nova Scotia and Reepherbahn in Germany. Fans of Alison Mosshart, Alanis Morissette, and Paramore take note, their first full-length is dropping Sept 5th, 2025.
