Intercultural Arts Festival
Sponsored by Empire Life, the Intercultural Arts Festival is a celebration of our multicultural community through live music and dance performances, cultural pavilions, artisan and craft vendors and international cuisine.
When and where?
On Sunday, Sept. 21, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Confederation Park and Springer Market Square.
Activities
The festival features 30 live performances and over 50 community booths and vendors. The event is free to attend and everyone is welcome.

The Intercultural Arts Festival is a popular annual event. Due to high traffic levels, we encourage active modes of transportation: walk, cycle or take public transit. Street parking is free on Sundays.

Road closure notifications
Please note that Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) has announced that the LaSalle Causeway will be fully closed to vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians on Sunday, Sept. 21 from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Additional closures:
Ontario St. will be closed from Clarence St. to Brock St. on Sunday, Sept. 21 from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m.
Market St. will be closed on Sunday, Sept. 21 from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m.
Accessibility information
Confederation Park and Springer Market Square are fully accessible. Some activities will take place on the grass.
Accessible portable washrooms are non-gendered. Additional non-gendered washrooms are available in City Hall and the Visitor Information Centre.

Weather
This event happens rain or shine. The event will only be cancelled if it becomes unsafe to be outside. Some activities may need to stop temporarily if it is raining but will start again when it is safe to do so.
For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
