Canada Day in Canmore is a local tradition packed with charm, colour, and community. From early-morning runs to mid-day parades, the town is buzzing from start to finish.
Canada Day Breakfast
9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Centennial Park (by donation)Hosted by the Rotary Club of Canmore, this community breakfast is the perfect way to start your day.
Fun Run & Walk – 34th Annual
Starts at 9:00 a.m.
Choose between 3km, 5km, or 10km routes in support of the Canmore Nordic Ski Club.
Canada Day Parade
Starts at 12:00 p.m.
Parade Route: Fairholme Drive → Main Street → Railway Avenue → 10 Street
This year’s theme is “Wild and Free,” celebrating the wildlife and wilderness that define Canmore and the surrounding Rockies.
Celebrate at Rhythm & Howl
After the parade, head to Rhythm & Howl for Burgers, Beers & Big Vibes. Perfect for post-run recovery or patio hangs after the parade.
