What’s better on a night out, than a DJ that actually plays your song request? We’ll tell you, It’s a drag queen who not-so-secretly judges and screens your request before giving it to the DJ. That’s right, April Storm and DJ Rukus are teaming up the Saturday night of May Long weekend to bring you your favorite jams, great prizes and a wicked show. Essentially, three things can happen when you submit a song request on this night: You get roasted by April Storm for a bad song choice (ouch). Your song gets approved by April, submitted to DJ Rukus and he plays it, you win a prize. April likes your song request so much, that she decides to steal the show and does a live performance. In other words, if you request it and we play it, you win a prize. DJ Rukus and April will start “party Rukus-ing” at 10pm and door cover will be $5, first some, first serve. See y’all there.
