Event Description

Erik Volet operates between modes of perception, travelling into the collective-unconscious retrieving symbols from mythic space, returning to give form to these discoveries. His paintings construct scenarios with figures from disparate times, animals, hybrid creatures, fantastical flora, and transitory architecture. The work explores the crossroads of the forbidden, madness, and magic.
