Inner Cowboy

Living on the edge of the Pacific but born from the heart of the American South, Inner Cowboy blends country, Americana, and rock influences into a sound that feels both timeless and fresh. With heartfelt storytelling, soulful harmonies, and raw, unfiltered energy, the band is quickly becoming a favorite for fans who crave authenticity and emotional depth in their music.

Formed in 2024 by lead singer, songwriter and guitarist Collin Wade and longtime drummer David Leslie, the band's sound is rooted in the rich traditions of country legends like Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson, while also drawing inspiration from the heartland roots of Americana acts like Eagles, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, The Band and Jason Isbell. The band’s lineup is completed by Chris Manolopolous on bass guitar, whose smooth harmonies and rhythm add an organic touch to the mix, and lead guitarist Justin who’s fiery solos and expressive playing brings an electrifying edge that matches the gritty themes of their songs.

Inner Cowboy seamlessly fuses classic country with Americana’s storytelling spirit, tackling themes of love, loss, and life on the open road or down a dirt lane. From foot-stomping anthems to heart-wrenching ballads about broken hearts, broken promises, and lost dreams. Their songs resonate with anyone who’s ever yearned for freedom, struggled to find their place in the world, or loved and lost too many times.
