Bianca Oblivion lives and breathes Los Angeles. Born and raised in the City of Angels, the globe-trotting, genre-hopping, hard-hustling artist-who was recently named by Mixmag as one of 2023’s breakthrough DJs of the year and is also part of Beatport Next’s class of of 2024-is unbound by dance music orthodoxy, opting instead for an
“anything goes as long as it bangs” approach that reflects the unique cultural palette of her hometown. Growing up Mexican in LA, Bianca heard G-funk blasting out of cars and cumbia coming out of the stereo at backyard BBQs, and during her teen years, she started spending her nights soaking up electro, house and all sorts of heavy bass music, most often in the city’s vibrant underground club and warehouse rave scene.
