Event Description

Kingston Blues Society presents legendary Delta Blues man, Doc MacLean, live in The Standeasy at R.C.H.A. Club.

Tickets are $15 in advance and can be purchased by calling 613 384-8168, or by e-transfer to [email protected]

NOTE: You cannot purchase or reserve your tickets through the R.C.H.A. Club.

About Doc MacLean


Forty-five years ago, Doc MacLean was playing Charlie Patton songs in Son House’s living room (yes that Son House).

Storyteller extraordinaire, Doc MacLean isn’t a blues musician, he is the blues. He travels the world as a blues minstrel spreading the music and his life wherever he goes.

Whenever Doc rolls his way through this part of the world, we always make sure he drops into the RCHA club for a night of storytelling and real Delta Blues that only Doc can provide.

Oh, and just in case you didn’t know Doc is a master of the Steel Guitar.

Still some good seats left for the legendary Doc MacLean if you want to experience real Delta style blues complete with Steel Guitar and incredible storytelling. Doc lives and breathes the blues through the stories he tells. A great night of up close and intimate blues.
