Firefighter’s Ball: A fundraising event for the Wolfe Island Fire & Rescue


Join Toronto's Big Tobacco & The Pickers and Kingston's Mike Guiney for this special fundraising ball at Hotel Wolfe Island.

Advance tickets are $25 each and are available for purchase online here. Some tickets available at the door subject to availability.
50/50 draw, raffle with prize of local gift certificates, pottery, and more! The WIPP will be providing late night pizza slices for $5. All proceeds go to our firehall. Bring cash to partake in these special treats and fun festivities!

About the Firefighter's Ball


As island dwellers, we are acutely aware of the challenges/barriers accessing emergency services.

As Wolfe Island dwellers, we are exceptionally privileged to have the VOLUNTEER crew of approximately 30 committed, passionate humans who make up our Wolfe Island Fire and Rescue. These stellar humans respond to every call as though it was family and serve our community with professional excellence. BECAUSE WE NEED THEM TO.

About Big Tobacco & The Pickers


Since 2008, Big Tobacco & the Pickers have been bringing their unique brand of traditional country to bar rooms, taverns, halls and festivals around Ontario. Their ongoing monthly residency at Toronto roots institution The Cameron House, has gained them a loyal following of country music fans.

Regular appearances at legendary rooms like The Dakota Tavern and The Cadillac Lounge, have helped develop their gritty live show into what it is today – a glimpse back at the golden age of country music. Their renditions of the hard hitting classics, along with traditional sounding original material, will make you and your friends want to dance all night, drink too much, and leave you wanting more.

From the rich tones of the pedal steel, to the hot licks of the Fender Telecaster, Big Tobacco & the Pickers deliver a new brand of country music, true to old school tradition.
