Event Description

Maple Blues Awards winner for Best New Band (2014) and semi-finalists at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis (2019), Wicked Grin play live blues in The Standeasy. Featuring the award-winning Laura Greenberg on bass, and Ottawa’s great saxman, Zeek Gross, for this show only!

Best described as a stripped down, hellaciously rockin' blues band, featuring the distinct voice and guitar work of Murray Kinsley. The pulsating rhythm section featuring two-time Maple Blues winner for best bass player, Laura Greenberg (formerly of JW Jones Band), and Bruce Saunders (who has played with many great blues bands in Ottawa).
