SOOHAN
Long known within the festival community as a skilled performer, remixer, and producer, Maryland's SOOHAN (Stephen Suchan) has been taking over the underground and mainstream with a steady output of the most creative sample-based work since the likes of Girl Talk and DJ Shadow. Entering 2018 with 5 albums and full-length projects under his belt, for a combined 2 million plays, he has singularly redefined success for the independent electronic musician, forging strong, personal, and lasting connections with musicians, industry, and fans alike across his extensive travels.
Newcomers to Soohan will find a treasure trove of remixed and sample-based works, celebrating regional dance and folk music the world over, with bass-heavy reinterpretation bringing sounds to enthusiastic audiences who would never otherwise experience them. Soohan's creative process has put him in touch with countless originators and musicians from all corners of the world, brokering a unique brand of global celebration and appreciation all too rare in modern remix culture. This year, he sets his sights on new original productions, in addition to more remixes and sample-based work that has made the bedrock to his sound.

OAKK
Spanning across numerous genres, OAKK produces dynamic, eclectic, and infectious bass music that is impossible to resist. Based out of Calgary, Canada, and working closely with the illustrious Hifi Club, one of OAKK’s main priorities is building upon the already thriving electronic music community in his city. His weekly residency “New Wave” provides a platform for other like-minded individuals to have their sounds heard on a world renowned stage. Musically speaking, OAKK’s catalogue is surrealistically beautiful, rambunctiously energetic, and intellectually stimulating — it draws influence from some of the most forward-thinking working artists of today as well as the most timeless classics. An intense passion for music and community has brought OAKK to his current stage, and given him the tools needed to propel his creative endeavours.

Ladyk
LadyK is a unique DJ, producer and pole athlete based on Vancouver Island. She consistently delights crowds with her internationally-flavoured, syncopation-forward tribal house. LadyK occasionally adds sensual athleticism to her shows by pole dancing during her DJ sets, laying her claim to the title of “The World's First Pole Dancing DJ.”
LadyK's musical background includes completing a Bachelor of Music in Composition and Education at University of Toronto. There she was exposed to a myriad of genres of world music and discovered a passion for West African dance. LadyK also lived in Trinidad and Tobago for several months in 2011, which contributed to her love of soca music, steel pan drumming and syncopated rhythms.
LadyK has played festivals including Tall Tree, Song and Surf, Atmosphere Gathering, Diversity and Carrington Bay. She has shared the stage with the Librarian, Tanya Taqak, Dakini, Erica Dee and many more. She also was a part of an all-girl DJ collective, The Electrolytes in 2012-13 and held a residency during that time at The Flying Canoe in Courtenay, BC. She has performed all over the west coast of Canada and the U.S., including Hawaii and Mexico.
In 2018, LadyK has been celebrating her first release of her original tribal house production, “Fetche” on ISAVIS Records (Italy). She has had her mixes aired on IbizaLiveRadio.com (Spain) and RadioAttiva (Italy). She has also received support from Madorasindahouse, the #1 International Afrohouse blog and Youtube channel out of Greece. She has been hard at work in the studio with more music to release in the spring of 2018. The future is bright for this internationally-minded DJ, producer and pole dancer!
