Event Description
This festival will provide the rare opportunity to see the Spinney Brothers here on the West Coast. This multi-award winning group is in great demand anywhere that blugrass music is enjoyed, so we are particularly proud to have them here in Chemainus for our festival.
The fun will continue with FarmStrong, a group with some wonderful vocal harmonies, visiting us from Washington. Vancouver Island's favourite group of bluegrass guys, the Clover Point Drifters, will also be on hand. And this year we have a special treat with Harmony Ridge & Friends, which is made up of the duo of Mike "Boomer" Boyd (guitar) and Luann Burton (bass), joined by those great bluegrass musicians, Bill Smith (banjo) and Max Pagani (mandolin).
This festival's host band will once again be Bluegrass Fever, a band that is always highly appreciated by the crowd. To top it off, we have the Song Sisters, who played for a brief set in 2015, and were so well-liked that we've asked them back again this year to play a longer set for us.
It will be a great line-up this year, so don't miss it!
