We at Locals online radio show need your help to keep our show going! It’s very expensive to keep up with the costs of producing an online radio show.
We will have live music, and other activities including prize draw giveaways, silent auction, hang out with musician auction, kissing booth and many more other activities!

9:45 pm – 10:15 pm… Angel Edwards…..Singer Songwriter from Vancouver, BC.
10:15 pm – 11:00 pm… The Palomars …The band has been playing locally in Vancouver including gigs at the monthly “Rockabilly Roundup” at the Fairview Pub

The Godspot …Shoegaze for drunken cowboys, anthems for Acid trips, cave man rock at its most insipid. These are a few of the terms used to describe the Godspot.

Joni Miller & The Usual Suspects – A collection of blues, rock and latin tunes matched with an experience and talented group of musicians. Joni Miller covers tunes from the old masters to her own original songs!

About the Music.
Singer Songwriter Billy Fisher is originally from sunny Kelowna BC, but makes Surrey his home now as he pursues his music dream.
Billy’s music is a collection of thoughts and feelings, He writes for his own sanity.
Billy started playing music later in life, he was 17 and it kept him out of trouble, for the most part. Billy has always liked to keep his music simple, enjoying the stupid style of 90’s Rock, so he tries to do the same with his music.

Ivy Ivy. The Pulse
Ivy. The Pulse is a luscious folk-rock Trio from the Eastside of Vancouver. This energetic band is a smooth blend of age, influence and stylistic taste.
Ivy Mairena
(singer/guitar) delivers a unique sultry vocal style and raw to the bone lyrical phrasing.
Shayne Robinson (lead guitar/vocals) adds an electric twist with edgy leads and his creative use of pedals.
Paul Mainstone (bass) drives the rhythm with his bluesy percussive style that would make anyone want to dance.
Ivy. The Pulse is soulful, sexy and festive, they are fun to watch and have a great hold on their signature sound, Vancouver needs a band like this!

The Palomars
The Palomars are excited about the Fall 2014 release of their debut album “Out Of The Past”. The release provides a good representation of the band’s live shows with an up-tempo rockabilly and swing style.
A November, 2014 article by Natalia Pardalis of “Hello Vancity” said of the band’s sound: “It’s an honest and distinctive sound that is rooted in the past but ever so present.”

Shoegaze for drunken cowboys, anthems for Acid trips, cave man rock at its most insipid.
These are a few of the terms used to describe the Godspot. Sure overblown, but when you dig right down to it, its about as honest as music gets these days. Real lyrics, real open chords, and none of the bullshit.
