The JAMIES are a Calgary-based new wave indie pop band showcasing dual keyboards, driving drums and bass, and passionate female vocals that range from powerful and energetic to evocative and contemplative. CHINA SYNDROME is a melodic rock band from Vancouver who combine driving pop hooks in the vein of XTC and Teenage Fanclub with liberal dollops of classic rock influences augmented by angular funk grooves, psychedelia and other aural surprises. BUBBLE11 - Shipwrecked space travellers crashed out in the bubble of the western world, Bubble11 transmits opaline sounds into eleven-dimensional hyperspace via electrically-generated, loud, cordant/discordant instruments and nostalgia for a lost future of wide iridescent skies, jet packs, and whirling silver saucers hovering over transparent domed cities.
