Welcome to BACKSTAGE - a 360 degree immersive theatrical dance experience with live music, theatre, video art and technology. A magical journey into life at sea - intoxicated by sirens, roused by pirates and immersed in the tumultuous flow of life on the merry waves. The audience becomes a partner in the wild ride that is BACKSTAGE - invited in by the ‘Shadow Lady’ to take a ride, to the ‘other side,’ to the backstage of our lives.
Featuring stunning dancers from around the world, a great live rock band, crazy technology and wild energy, BACKSTAGE is a show not to be missed. Maria Kong: Based in Tel Aviv, Israel and founded in 2008 by former members of Batsheva Dance Company. An international team of dancers, musicians and specialists in the art (and technology) of sound, light and visual effects, creating live movement experiences to touch the heart and stimulate the senses.
Maria Kong have earned critical acclaim from around the globe, performing in the Middle East, Asia, South America, India and Europe and drawing a wide range of enthusiastic followers, entranced and amazed by their uniquely magical shows.
