The GRIZZ sprang to life from the ashes of a cancelled jam session of ...another Vancouver band, The Sicks. With a penchant for getting really high and embarking on mind-expanding space jams, the power trio has been hard at work writing material, honing their sound and getting ready to rock. JOYCE ISLAND - Lisa Joyce's stripped down approach has its roots in her love of beat poetry, mod music & fashion, old school country crooners, kick-ass rhythm & blues, psychedelic rock, and all things East Van!
