The king RATT is back in town! STEPHEN PEARCY, the gritty, tattooed, in-your-face singer/composer for the multi-platinum selling hard glam metal rock & roll scandal known as RATT, released his third solo album Under My Skin last year on his own label Top Fuel Records. He is a ferocious entertainer who never stops working and never stops rocking. Instead of disappearing in a blaze of glory like so many from the eighties he is still a burning beacon, a fireball of attitude.
Never a ‘quiet boy from the suburbs,’ STEPHEN PEARCY swapped his dream of being a race-car driver for that of a rock rebel and formed RATT in Los Angeles in 1982, amassing a huge following at the local clubs till Atlantic Records saw the potential and released the breakthrough album Out of the Cellar in 1984 which became a multi-platinum seller with singles like ‘Round and Round’ and ‘Wanted Man.’ They released ten albums (four platinum and one gold) until Pearcy left to pursue other projects in the nineties.
Pearcy released his solo debut Social Intercourse in 2002, and his second solo release, Fueler, in 2006. Also in 2006, he released an acoustic CD of Ratt ‘n Roll hits titled Stripped. After almost a decade apart STEPHEN PEARCY reunited with RATT in 2007 and toured the US, Spain, Japan, Sweden and Australia and the result is a new RATT album called Infestation set to drop in 2010.
The guys in STAMPEDE QUEEN play Hot & Horny, Heart-Pounding, Fist-Raising, Whiskey-Swillin’in your face Rock & Roll, the kind that brings to mind, Bon Scott’s AC/DC, Cheap Trick or Guns ‘n Roses. They have two albums, A Night At The Cockfights and Stampede Queen released by Texas-based Perris Records and a third on the way. STAMPEDE QUEEN has one message: old school rock is back…to stay!
