ANALOG BELL SERVICE- A high voltage dose of up-tempo, poppy art rock with dense three-part vocal harmonies, pockets of ambience and fanciful lyrics grooving to a distant land. Two brother painters, a cartoonist, a sculptor and an actor began sharing an artist's studio in Vancouver's Chinatown. GREENBELT COLLECTIVE is a gathering of partners and friends. They are a strongly focused ensemble of musicians striving to enhance their community through persistent involvement and experienced musicianship. The result is a celebration of dynamic, upbeat pop music that's as enjoyable to perform as it is to witness in a crowd. Starting out in Hamilton and previously stationing in Montreal and Vancouver, the group has more than 35 members across Canada, with live shows featuring as many as 13 people, their voices and up to 15 instruments. http://www.myspace.com/greenbeltcollective
