MARINEDRIVE - Led by charismatic front man ANDY COLLINS, Marinedrive showcases one of the best up and coming singer/songwriters in the Vancouver music scene alongside a solid team of seasoned musicians. 1980 SICKS began their long trek to unite in 1986 when each member, some barely two years old, looked up to the sky one night and began following a bright star. On their quests they crossed oceans, traveled through deserts and soared in handcrafted flying machines towards a forgotten shoreline where a shiny geometric golf ball was lighting the night sky. Entering a hypnotic, opium-induced trance for weeks, maybe years, they honed their craft and learned to write songs like nobody's business with the help of wily old wizards named Fender and Gibson. www.myspace.com/1980sicks
