Banff Pride Society

Banff Pride Festival is Alberta's autumn Pride: October 2 to 12, 2026, in Banff National Park. The festival combines community programming, live performance, nightlife and the outdoors. It opens with the Pride March and Flag Raising, gathering on Bear Street before heading down Banff Avenue, on Friday October 2, then runs through two weekends of drag, burlesque, live music, a drag brunch and a Pride Market. It closes on Thanksgiving weekend with Big Gay Burlesque and Amateur Strip at Mason Hall. Banff Pride Society is a volunteer-run non-profit, and the festival draws most of its audience from outside town: Calgary, Edmonton, Canmore and further afield. Community events are free; ticketed shows start at $15 plus fees, with early bird pricing until September 14. Festival / Event Series
