On St. Patrick's Day 1967 (March 17,1967) the Preachers with Stu Mitchell (drums, vocals), Dennis Ferbey (bass, vocals), Gerry Dere (keyboards) recorded Hey Girl (Barry 3469) at Norman Petty's Studio in Clovis New Mexico. It was released in June , 1967 with "Thoughts Of You" on the B Side which was one of the last unreleased recordings by "Wes Dakus & The Rebels".
The Preachers also recorded That'll Be The Day / I Think I'll Catch A Bus / You're A Better Man Than I / Anything But Happy / Where Did We Go WrongWhen The Feelin' Hits Ya / Do The Boomerang / Heart / I'm Movin' On / Rave On Between March 17 and April 1, 1967 for an album that was to be titled "Mild To Wild" however was not released. And recorded Coca Cola jingles (to the tune of "I Think I'll Catch A Bus") Credit Legends of the Edmonton Music Scene
