About

Hold The Door!

Hold The Door! is a three-piece instrumental pop and smooth jazz band from Kingston, ON. The band formed after working together for many years with the Rideau Street Guitar Circle. Their tight ensemble work fuses smooth sax, intricate guitar, and in-the-pocket percussion with unexpected medleys and inspired pop arrangements, all done in an inviting Manhattan lounge style.

Some of their 2026 appearances include HomeGrown Live, Brockville Farmer’s Market, ArtFest in City Park, Canada Day in Confederation Park, and various private functions. Their repertoire includes works by The Tragically Hip, Paul Desmond, Dave Matthews Band, Bruce Springsteen and Barenaked Ladies, and their setlist is constantly expanding.

Hold The Door! is available for bookings and wants to be a part of your next special event, backyard gathering, gala, wedding or cottage party.
