RML Peak Performer Series: Mountain Mansion

Under the moniker Mountain Mansion, multi- instrumentalist Shane Turner composes dreamy folk music on the mountain summit of Barrier Lake Lookout in the Bow Valley. On a series of albums titled “Songs From A Fire Tower” Turner’s storytelling captures the adventures of past and present wildfire lookouts stationed across Alberta.
Shane previously lived in Vancouver and participated in dozens of bands (seriously, check out his Shane Turner "Musician" profile as well to see a few). He is very talented and we are also creating a "Music Motivations" video on Mountain Mansion that will be released soon - stay tuned for that!
